Men's Basketball to Play in the Baha Mar Hoops Event in The Bahamas

NASSAU, THE BAHAMAS – The Drexel men's basketball team, fresh off an NCAA Tournament appearance, will travel to the Bahamas to compete in a "Baha Mar Hoops" tournament in November. The Dragons will appear in the eight-team "Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship." Baha Mar, the leading resort destination in The Bahamas, revealed today 19 NCAA men's and women's teams who will participate in the newly announced "Baha Mar Hoops" event, making it the largest early season event in all of college basketball. In total, 23 games will be played across three events during the U.S. Thanksgiving week, Nov. 22-27 at the Baha Mar Convention Center.
The Dragons tip-off on Monday, Nov. 22 against Tulane. The winner will face the winner of the Toledo-Charlotte game the following day. The tournament will conclude on Nov. 24. Other teams in the Nassau Championship bracket include Abilene Christian, Jacksonville State, Coastal Carolina and Valparaiso.
