Donovan Named CAA Offensive Player of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – Senior Chris Donovan of the Drexel men's soccer team was named the Colonial Athletic Association Offensive Player of the Week on Monday morning. The news was announced by the CAA office.\
Donovan had a career week. The senior scored two goals and tallied an assist as the Dragons went 2-0-0. On Tuesday, September 7, Donovan netted his second goal of the season and added an assist in Drexel's 5-1 victory over Saint Peter's. On Saturday, September 11, the Paoli native scored an insurance goal in the Dragons' win over UNCW to end the Seahawks perfect season and give Drexel its first conference win of the season.
The Dragons travel to Hempstead, N.Y. to play Hofstra on Saturday, September 18. FloFC will stream the match.
