PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Drexel men's soccer team (0-3) dropped a match against the Stony Brook Seawolves (2-1) on Friday night. Andrew Lizyness notched his first tally of the season, and Chris Donovan scored the first goal of his senior campaign for the Dragons. In the second half of overtime, Stony Brook scored to top the Dragons in their home opener, 3-2.

Lizyness, in his first start for Drexel, struck in the eighth minute of the game. Lizyness headed the ball out of the penalty box to the wide-open Tiago Teixeira. The senior midfielder then sent a shot towards the net. As the ball passed through the penalty box, Lizyness redirected the ball, sending it past the Stony Brook keeper.
