Lemongo Wraps Up Performance at ITA Regionals

PHILADELPHIA - On the final day of the Women's Regional Tournament hosted by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, Lorie Lemongo was defeated by Winta Tewolde of Columbia.

Lemongo, a sophomore, earned a spot in the final day by earning a bye in the first round, defeating Avery Hopkey of Lehigh and then downing Victoria Erechtchenko of LIU. In the final round of the regional tournament, Lemongo faced Tewolde and was defeated.

The Dragons will return to the court on Oct. 29 as DU will host the annual Dragon Invitational.
