Men's Tennis Adds Two Names to Spring Roster

PHILADELPHIA – Drexel's Director of Tennis Mehdi Rhazali announced the addition of two athletes to the 2023 spring men's tennis roster. Egor Kirakosov, from Moscow, Russia, and Pierre Humayou, from Forcalquier, France, will join the team in time for Drexel's first match on January 21 against Old Dominion.
"The current team has set some high standards and I'm excited to keep improving the program," Rhazali said. "We have an exciting team coming in this spring and next fall, they are talented, hard working and will bring new energy to the program!"

Kirakosov joins the Dragons after ranking as high as 488th worldwide in the International Tennis Federation. The Russian native also trains at IMG Academy and is a four-star recruit in the top 100 rankings in the US Juniors.

Pierre Humayou | Forcalquier, France | Freshman | CNED
Humayou, a native of France, has had a successful junior career. The newcomer won three of five matches in the third division of the France team championship. He then participated in the regional championship. In France, Humayou is ranked zero, one of the top players in the European country.
