ANNAPOLIS, Md. –The Drexel women's tennis team fell to the Navy Midshipmen on Saturday in Annapolis, Md., 4-2.
Lorie Lemongo earned a decisive victory in the top-seeded match by defeating her opponent 6-4, 6-4. The freshman now pushes her singles record to 12-7, winning her last four matches. The Dragons also welcomed back Renata Lombera to the match card. Lombera, who has been out since the second week of February, took down her opponent in the No. 3 singles match in three sets, 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 (6).
Drexel returns to Vidas on Wednesday, March 9, to face Georgetown. First serve is scheduled for 10 a.m.
