ELON, N.C. – The Drexel women's tennis team was defeated by the Delaware Blue Hens in the quarterfinals of the Colonial Athletic Association's tennis championship on Friday afternoon in Elon, N.C.

Delaware won the doubles point after defeating the Dragons in the top two seeded matches. Isabel Cabrerizo and Aida Garcia Mendez's third-seeded match went unfinished.

In singles play, Cabrerizo defeated her opponent in the third-seeded flight to earn Drexel its lone point of the match. The junior downed her opponent in two sets, 6-2, 6-1.

Drexel wraps its 2022 spring season with a 6-13 record with a 2-3 conference tab.
