Tucker Named Philly Soccer 6 Player of the Week

Capogna Earns Honor Roll
PHILADELPHIA – Graduate student Kyle Tucker and junior Alessandro Capogna of the Drexel men's soccer team have been named the Philadelphia Soccer Six Player of the Week and to the organization's honor roll for their efforts on the pitch after one week of play.
Tucker began his final season with the Dragons on a high note. The Phoenixville, Pa. native scored the Dragons' first goal of the season in the opening match against NJIT. He then was part of a double assist in the team's first win of the season against Binghamton. The three-point week is one of Tucker's best of his career.
Capogna was named to the honor roll after piecing together an impressive 1-0-1 Drexel debut in the first two matches. The transfer played all 180 minutes in the and earned the first shutout of his American collegiate career.
The midfielder, keeper and the rest of the Dragons will open their conference and home slate on the same day, Saturday, September 3, as they host William & Mary at 6 p.m. at Vidas Athletics Complex.
