Drexel Athletics Welcomes New Staff Members

Philadelphia, Pa. – Drexel Director of Athletics Maisha Kelly has announced new additions to the Dragons' Athletics staff for the start of the 2022-23 academic year. Each of the hires will begin their new positions in September.
Maria Alexandrowicz is Drexel's new business coordinator for athletics and recreation. She worked for the past three academic years in the Cabrini Athletic department. Alexandrowicz is a former collegiate soccer student athlete. She played at Millersville before completing her degree from Cabrini.
Alexandra Jerez is a familiar face in the department. She will be Drexel's executive assistant and office manager. Jerez graduated from Drexel in the spring with a degree in public relations, crisis and brand management. She formerly was the head manager of the basketball team for three seasons while an undergraduate at Drexel.
Brian Manley is Drexel's new assistant communications director for creative services. Manley comes to Drexel from nearby Cabrini College. He has worked in athletic communications for the last three years. Manley is a Kutztown graduate and earned his master's degree from West Chester.
Nathan Perrone is Drexel's new men's tennis assistant coach. He was a high-performance tennis coach at Moorestown Field Club for the last three years. Perrone played collegiately at Saint Joseph's, where he was the Atlantic 10 Player of the Year.
Ashley Shutack joins Drexel's athletic training team. She recently served as a graduate assistant at West Chester University while earning a master's degree in athletic training. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
Carly Todd joins the softball program as an assistant coach for the Dragons. Todd comes to Drexel after a stint as Head of Softball at Name Your Sport in Runnemede, N.J. She graduated from Rutgers and was a member of the Big Ten All-Academic Team.
