Women's Rowing Returns to Form at Head of the Schuylkill

PHILADELPHIA - The Drexel University women's rowing team returned to boathouse row and turned in a pair of top-five performances at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta on Saturday.
In the Championship 8+, the Dragons team of Erin Ernst (coxswain), Taylor Powell (stroke), Mollie Knoff, Hannah Walseth, Margaret Dobrenko, Rita Keefer, Baylor Henry, Julianna Rogers and Kayla Driscoll (bow) rowed Jim & Toni Downey to a fourth place finish out of 13 boats with a time of 13:06.946.
The Club Championship 8+ saw Maddie Depommier (coxswain), Kieran Harrington (stroke), Valentina Frusone, Caroline Payseur, Ria Jones, Lily Gramlich, Jaelyn Walsh, Colette Zidek and Alyssa Bucci (bow) also take fourth in a field of 42 with a time of 13:50.171.
The fall schedule wraps with the Princeton Chase on Sunday, November 5.
