Invest in Drexel’s student-athletes by supporting the teams behind the Dragons
Through athletics, Drexel provides a platform for student-athletes to compete and excel at the highest level. To ensure their success and maximize each individual Dragons' potential athletically, academically and personally, the Department of Athletics provides a broad range of programs and resources to enhance sport performance, health and wellness, personal development and academic outcomes. On Monday, December 11, alumni, parents, fans and friends are called to invest in our student-athletes success by supporting the people and programs behind the Dragons during Drexel Athletics Giving Day.
Drexel benefits greatly from having robust resources in a group of expert coaches, administrators and professional staff in the fields of academic support, sports medicine, athletic training, strength and conditioning, mental health, nutrition, physical therapy and rehabilitation, student-athlete development, marketing, communications and equipment operations. These individuals provide a personalized, comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to optimize the experience of each athlete.
"Drexel Athletics provides a platform to transform the lives of our student-athletes, providing them with the tools to compete and excel while setting them up for success in all aspects of their lives," said Director of Athletics Maisha Kelly. "The people and programs behind the scenes are critical to the success of our teams. Your support allows us to expand the resources and enhance the overall student-athlete experience. I hope we can count on you to invest in our student-athletes during our Athletics Giving Day on December 11."
While 24 Hours of Impact, which takes place in May, provides a platform to directly support individual teams, Drexel Athletics Giving Day on December 11 is about investing in our student-athletes by supporting the people and programs behind the Dragons that allow our teams to excel.
