Damion Lee Named to Drexel's Forty Under Forty

PHILADELPHIA - Former men's basketball standout Damion Lee has been named to Drexel Magazine's Forty Under Forty. Lee, alongside his mother Michelle Riddick, started the L.E.E. Way Foundation.
Stemming from their passion for helping youth and community, The L.E.E. Way Foundation (Leveraging Excellence through Experience) provides a sense of community and a safe environment for youth around the world. It focuses on self-esteem, teamwork, relationship building, communication and leadership skills. The Foundation gives youth an opportunity to be heard and room to grow.
Lee, 30, graduated from Drexel is 2015 with a communication degree. The Baltimore native is currently a member of the NBA's Phoenix Suns and in his sixth year in the league. Lee started his career with the Atlanta Hawks and spent the previous four seasons as a member of the Golden State Warriors. He averaged 7.4 points per game in 2022, when the Warriors won the NBA Championship.
