Lucas Monroe Transfers to Drexel

The Penn graduate will enroll in graduate school at Drexel
PHILADELPHIA - Lucas Monroe has announced that will be using his final season of eligibility to play basketball for Drexel. Monroe played the last four seasons at Penn, where he will be graduating next month.
Monroe appeared in all 30 games in his final season at Penn. He led the Quakers with six rebounds per game and chipped in with 4.9 points per contest. Monroe, an Academic All-Ivy selection last season, also had 62 assists, 18 blocks and 19 steals. The Abington, Pa. native shot 82 percent from the line and had a pair of double-doubles. Monroe had a career-high 14 points against Arkansas during the 2021-22 season. He played 85 games as a member of the Quakers and grabbed 391 rebounds in his three seasons.
Monroe will be graduating with a political science degree and a minor in African studies. He will be pursuing a master's degree from LeBow in sport business.
