Dragons Fall to UNCW in Conference Semifinals, 4-1

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Drexel men's tennis was defeated by the UNCW Seahawks, 4-1, in the CAA Semifinals on Saturday in Williamsburg, Va.
Drexel started the match with a win in doubles play. Alex De Sousa and Alan Jesudason paired in the top-seeded doubles match and took down their opponents, 7-5. In the No. 3 doubles, Daniel Dudockin and Matvey Radionov helped clinch the doubles point with a 7-5 win as well.
UNCW took four singles matches to top Drexel and eliminate the Dragons from the tournament. Two matches were still in play, however, De Sousa was tied in the second set of the second-seeded match, 4-4. In the second-seeded match, Dudockin took the second set to force a third set, but unfortunately, the match was called prior to the set starting.
