Men's Tennis Defeats Navy, 6-1

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel men's tennis team defeated the Navy Midshipmen in a match on Saturday, 6-1. Drexel improves to 6-10, while Navy drops to 15-19 on the season.
Navy won the doubles point by winning the second and third doubles matches. Alan Jesudason and Alex De Sousa defeated their opponents in the top seed, 6-4.
In singles play, Drexel swept the ladder and defeated Navy in each match. Jesudason earned a two-set victory in the top flight, 6-3, 6-2. In the second-seeded match, Daniel Dudockin defeated his opponent, 6-2, 6-1. De Sousa defeated his opponent, 6-2, 5-7, 10-3 and Egor Kirakosov earned a identical 6-2, 6-2 match to also win. Rounding out the victories, Matvey Radionov won in the fifth-seeded match, 6-1, 6-2 and Juan Manuel Sanchez downed his opponent 6-4, 6-1.
Drexel returns to action on April 12 at 2 p.m. as the Delaware Blue Hens visit Vidas Athletic Complex in a conference matchup.
