Lemongo and Lombera Earn CAA Postseason Honors

RICHMOND, Va. – Drexel's Lorie Lemongo and Renata Lombera earned conference honors for their athletic achievements on the court during the 2022-23 season. Lemongo was named to the conference's first team, while Lombera was named to the third team. The duo also earned a spot on the Second Team All-CAA Doubles.
Lemongo earned the first All-CAA First Team nod after finishing the season with a 22-8 singles record overall and a 15-6 tab in conference play. Lemongo has propelled herself into the mix of top players in program history in just two seasons. With 41 wins, Lemongo is just short of the tenth spot on the rankings. The First Team Singles selection is Lemongo's second postseason nod, but it is the first time Lemongo earned First Team honors.
Lombera completed her second year with the Dragons, posting a 16-12 singles record overall and a 11-8 record in conference play. The Mexico City, Mexico native anchored the second singles spot for Drexel and has tallied 19 wins over her two years at Drexel.
Lemongo and Lombera were also honored with Second Team All-CAA Doubles after posting a 13-5 record in the No. 1 spot for Drexel. The duo was also consistent for the Dragons, finishing the season 7-3 in the last 10 matches.
