PHILADELPHIA – Drexel University head men's and women's squash coach John White announced the hiring of Luke Forster as assistant coach on Monday. Forster comes to Market Street with more than a decade of coaching experience in the collegiate ranks.
"Very excited to have Luke Forster on board as the new men's and women's assistant squash coach," said White. "He joins us from Dartmouth where he was the squash assistant for the past five years and brings 20+ years of coaching experience from private, club and college level to the program."
Most recently, Forster spent the previous four seasons as an assistant coach at Dartmouth in the highly competitive Ivy League. During his tenure with the Big Green, he helped lead the team to a top-10 finish nationally.
"I am excited and thankful for the opportunity to work at Drexel," said Forster. "I am looking forward to working with Coach White and continuing the strong programs he has built. Go Dragons!"
Prior to coming to Dartmouth, Forster started the squash program at Ohio State and was the coach for the Buckeyes from 2014-18, growing the team from three to 30 players. He also was an assistant coach at Dennison University and has international experience in his home country of Australia.
As a player, Forster was ranked as high as No. 2 in the Australia junior ranks and No. 10 in the senior circuit.
