Drue Nicholas Named CAA Player of the Week

PHILADELPHIA - Drexel graduate student Drue Nicholas was named the Coastal Athletic Association Player of the Week after his performance at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate. Nicholas shot 8-under par over 54 holes and finished in second place overall. The Egg Harbor Township, N.J. native has now won the award seven times in his career.
Nicholas played all three rounds under par and had a 68 in both the second and third rounds. It was the fourth appearance in the ODU/OBX Intercolleigate for Nicholas. He won the event twice and was runner up on two other occasions. His combined score in four tournaments was 33-under par.
The Dragons have a short turnaround as they play in the Big 5 Championship on Thursday at 9 a.m. at the Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pa.
