
Dragons Defeat Chestnut Hill in Exhibition

PHILADELPHIA - Kobe MaGee scored 15 of his game-high 19 points in the second half as Drexel defeated Chestnut Hill, 80-50, in an exhibition game on Tuesday night at the Daskalakis Athletic Center. It was the team's final tune-up before the season opener on Monday night.
Drexel led by just five at the half but shot 60 percent over the final 20 minutes. MaGee was 7-for-13 and had three 3-pointers. Yame Butler added 15 points, while Jason Drake and Victor Panov chipped in with 12 and 11 points, respectively. The Dragons were 7-for-17 from behind the arc and controlled the boards, outrebounding Chestnut Hill by 20.
Alejandro Cybak had 11 points to lead Chestnut Hill. Drexel's defense held Chestnut HIll to 30 percent shooting and just 3-for-18 from 3-point distance.
The Dragons will face Georgian Court on Monday night at 6 p.m. at the DAC before hosting Colgate on Saturday, Nov. 9.
