Six Dragons Named to the CSC Academic All-District Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. - Ava Boyd, Liv Brocious, Elise Duffy, Laila Payton, Casey Touey, and Tori Yost of Drexel women's soccer have been named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District as announced by the organization.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must be of a sophomore academic standing or higher with a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA and be a starter or key reserve for their team.
Boyd started in all 17 games for the Dragons in her sophomore season. The Ontario native played nearly 1300 minutes, which was a career-high. She has been also named to the CAA Commissioner's Honor Roll both years at Drexel.
Brocious led the Dragons in goals scored, hitting the back of the net four times this season. The Cherry Hill, New Jersey more than tripled her minutes played from her freshman season, playing 1075 in 2024. In the Battle of 34th Street, Brocious scored her first career-winner in the 2-1 win over Penn. She also recorded the first helper of her career in the four-goal comeback draw with Lehigh.
Duffy finished tied for second on the team in scores with three. One of her career-high three goals came in the 1-0 win over NJIT. The junior started in all 17 games for the Dragons, playing 1253 minutes. Duffy also added assists against defending CAA champion Towson and on the road at regular season champion Monmouth.
Peyton was a staple for the Dragon's defense, leading the team to three shutouts in 16 games played. Drexel allowed 1.53 goals per game, limiting opponents to just 197 shots. The graduate student also scored the game-winner in the 1-0 win over defending CAA Champion Towson.
Touey started in 13 games for the Dragons, playing over 1,000 minutes despite missing time due to injury. The Preseason All-CAA selection finished first on the team in points with 10. She also had three tallies, with two coming in the team's biggest comeback in program history against Lehigh. Touey finished her career at Drexel tied for eighth all-time in points with 40.
In her senior campaign, Yost scored her first career goal in the 1-1 draw against Hofstra. The team captain started in all 17 games for the Dragons, playing a career-high 1382 minutes. Yost also added a career-best two helpers this season against Princeton and Lehigh.
