
Men's Swimming and Diving Roll Against Lehigh, 150-70

PHILADELPHIA- The Drexel men's swimming and diving team knocked off Lehigh 150-70 on Saturday morning.
Sebastian Smith got the meet started with a first-place finish in the 50 Freestyle, clocking in at 20.52, while Mohammed ElTayeb won the 150 Freestyle with a time of 1:14.04. Drexel's 200 Medley Relay team of Dimi Gkelis, Bartosz Loter, Nathan Piccolo, and Petar Pavalic took first place with a time of 1:31.16. The mixed 200 Freestyle Relay team, featuring Theo Andreopoulos, Sebastian Smith, Megan Ehrnfeldt, and Delaney Leonard, also earned a first-place finish with a time of 1:28.54.
Diving was another highlight for Drexel, with Joshua Gratton sweeping the diving events. Gratton won the 1-meter event with a score of 283.80 and the 3-meter event with a score of 264.68, contributing crucial points to the Dragons' total.
Notable second-place performances included Youssef Bahgat in the 150 Freestyle (1:14.09) and Dimi Gkelis in the 100 IM (52.85). The 200 Medley Relay team of Alessio Gianni, Kacper Karnik, Mohammed ElTayeb, and Colton Wade finished second with a time of 1:34.40.
The Dragons rounded the day with third-place finishes, including Andrea Casini in the 150 Freestyle (1:14.11) and Grady Potter in the 400 Freestyle (3:52.52).
The Dragons return to action on January 4 when the Dragons host Delaware.
