Drue Nicholas Named CAA Golfer of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. - Drue Nicholas of the Drexel golf team has been named the Coastal Athletic Association Golfer of the Week. This is his second recognition this year from the conference.

The senior tied for fourth at the Peoples Championship at Sea Palms Resort to guide the Dragons to a second-place finish. Nicholas shot 5-under in the event which was shortened to 36 holes due to weather. The Egg Harbor Township, NJ native, shot 5-under in the event shortened to 36 holes by rain, carding an opening-round 69 and following with a 68. Nicholas has shot par or better in seven straight rounds.
