Ten Dragons Selected to All-MASC Teams

PHILADELPHIA - Ten members of the Drexel Squash teams were named to the All-Mid Atlantic Squash Conference Teams as announced by the conference on Thursday.
The men's team swept the major awards as Nico Serna was named the Men's MASC Player of the Year, the first in program history. Youssef Bastawy was selected as the Rookie of the Year, he is only the second player in program history to receive the award. Head Coach John White was named the Men's Coach of the Year, his first as the Men's Coach and his fourth overall with Drexel.
On the women's team, Margot Prow and Karina Tyma were named to the MASC First Team with Sanya Vats and Emma Bartley on the Second Team. It is the third time Prow and Tyma have been honored.
The men's team saw Serna, Bastawy, Haris Qasim and Yuri Pelbart on the First Team and Fritiof Jacobsson and Guido Lindner received Second Team honors. It is the second time Qasim and Serna have received First Team honors.
White led the men's squash program to their first Holley Cup Championship and a 9-8 record during the season. The women's squash program finished with an 8-8 record and ranked top ten in the country.
