PHILADELPHIA - Two Dragons scored as Drexel won their season opener over Sacred Heart 2-1.

BY THE NUMBERS

Goalie Halle Geiger picks up her first career win .
Kenzie Lever evened the score at 1-1 in the third quarter and added the game winning goal in fourth.
After giving up a goal at the 11-minute mark, Drexel held Sacred Heart scoreless the rest of the game.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Sacred Heart opened the scoring in the first quarter, taking an early 1-0 lead.
The score would stay the same until the 43rd minute when Kenzie Lever scored the first goal of the season for the Dragons and tying the game.
It only took four more minutes for Drexel to take their first lead of the game as Pien Elsen set up Lever to score again, this time to win the game 2-1.

UP NEXT
The Dragons travel to College Park, Maryland this weekend for a matchup with Maryland. Game time is set for this Sunday at 1:00pm.
