
2025 Homecoming Festivities to Begin on Friday

PHILADELPHIA - Drexel University's 2025 Homecoming is set to begin Friday, Jan. 24 and run through Sunday, Jan. 26.
Homecoming will get underway as the women's tennis team competes in their season opener against FDU on Vidas Courts at 12 p.m. The festivities continue with the annual Homecoming Bonfire at 5 p.m. on Lancaster Walk. The women's basketball team closes the first night of homecoming with a game against Charleston at 6 p.m. Friday's game is Pride Night and is sponsored by Barnes and Noble. Tickets are available here.
On Saturday, Drexel will induct six new members into the Janet E. and Barry C Burkholder Athletics Hall of Fame. The 2025 class is comprised of Gabriela Marginean '10 (women's basketball), Joe Linderman '01 (men's basketball), Ryan Hluschak '08 (wrestling), Emily Hoesch '07 (women's lacrosse), Kerry Kelly '07 (women's lacrosse) and former soccer head coach and administrator Johnson Bowie. The induction ceremony will be held at the Study in University City at 10 a.m.
Saturday's events roll on as men's tennis makes their season debut at Vidas against Philadelphia rival Villanova at 12 p.m. The men's basketball team will then take on rival Delaware at 2 p.m. It will be the last time that the Blue Hens will play at the DAC as members of the CAA. Saturday's game is sponsored by Rothman Orthopedics. Tickets can be purchased here. Drexel will honor the newly inducted Hall of Fame class at halftime during the game. The Homecoming Court and Royal Dragon will also be announced at halftime.
Before cheering on the Dragons at the DAC, Drexel Alumni will host a Fan Zone at 12 p.m in the Recreation Center, including a pop-up tent for those 21+ and other family entertainment. To register, use the link here. Purchasing a fan zone ticket does not include a ticket to the game and must be purchased separately.
There is more action on Sunday as the women's basketball team plays Elon at 1 p.m. Tickets for the game against the Phoenix can be purchased here. Sunday's game is sponsored by Barnes and Noble.
