PHILADELPHIA — Drexel Director of Rowing Paul Savell announced the addition of Corinne Carlson to the Drexel women's rowing staff on Thursday.
"We are excited to add Corinne to our staff," said Savell. "She brings a wealth of experience from the region and a strong understanding of its landscape and history. She will be an excellent addition to the program."
Prior to joining the Dragons, Carlson served as the Assistant Program Director and Coach at the Wilmington Youth Rowing Association, where she managed digital communications, coordinated events, and supported program operations.
Carlson is no stranger to rowing on the Schuylkill River. The Yardley, Pa., native spent three seasons at Temple before completing her senior campaign at Delaware. Carlson was named to the All-CAA Team as a member of the Blue Hens, guiding them to a program-best third place finish overall at the 2025 CAA Championships. She was also recognized as Temple Women's Rowing Teammate of the Year and named a CRCA Scholar-Athlete in 2024.
"I'm excited to join such a dedicated staff," said Carlson. "I look forward to contributing to the continued growth of the team's culture while working towards our goals one day at a time."
Carlson earned her bachelor's degree in public health from Temple University in 2024 and a master's degree in hospitality and sport business analytics from the University of Delaware in 2025.
