Drexel Earns Four Top-Five Finishes Overall
PHILADELPHIA — The Drexel men's rowing team picked a pair of victories on the Schuylkill River as the Dragons made their fall debut at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta. The Frosh/Novice and Club Championship 8+ A teams each took the top spot in their races. Additionally, the Championships 8+ A and Sam Duncan manned collegiate single boat also collected top-five finishes.
Rowing in Lois Krall II, the Club Championships 8+ team of Thomas Tran (Coxswain), Samuel Lozek (Stroke), Logan Lyle, Dejan Manojlovic, Carter Lucas, Aidan Seiger, Aidan Ionescu, Jack Brennan, and Filip Milanovic (Bow) finished the course with a time of 11.07.061. The Dragons dominated the field, finishing nearly 14 seconds ahead of second-place Penn.
The Frosh/Novice crew of Isabella Kurach (Coxswain), Oscar Lourie (Stroke), Ryan Miller, Noah Beaton, Ollie Quinn, Justus Bormann, Maxwell Burget, Lucas Evers, and Nathan Kover (Bow) crossed the line at 11.28.991. Boathouse Row rivals La Salle came home in second place, nearly 16 seconds behind DU
Drexel will wrap up their fall season at the Princeton Chase November 2.
