10/30/2025 10:15:00 AM | Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball
PHILADELPHIA - Drexel Athletics in partnership with the Drexel Music Industry Progam's Live Music II course is booking, producing and promoting a series of halftime shows at Drexel Basketball games for the 2025-26 Season. Once again, the upcoming men's basketball season is presented by IBEW Local 98.
"The Live Music II course embodies Drexel's mission of experiential learning by placing students at the center of hands-on real world industry work," Professor Joe Steinhardt said. "Through booking and promoting halftime shows for Drexel Basketball, they experience the challenges and excitement of live music production firsthand. Including developing the professional skills, confidence, and adaptability that set Drexel students apart."
The course offers Drexel students the opportunity to be immersed in the world of artist booking, production, and promotion.
"We're excited to partner with the Westphal School of Media Arts & Design's Live Music Class to bring student-curated performances to our basketball halftimes this season," Assistant Athletics Director, External Relations Sean Joyce said. "This partnership not only enhances the game day atmosphere for our fans but also provides a meaningful, hands-on opportunity for students to gain real-world experience in live event production and artist management. It's a great example of how collaboration across campus can elevate both the student experience and our athletic events."
