Women's Swim and Dive Wins Gold on Day Two of CAA Championships

HAMPTON, Va. – Drexel women's swimming and diving added a gold medal and sits in sixth place after day two of the 2025 CAA Championships at the Hampton Aquaplex in Hampton, Va.
Brittany Corbett won a gold medal and set a new school record in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:48.38. Harper Barrowman also competed in the championship final, finishing seventh with a time of 4:54.87.
Mariana Alencar made the championship final in the 50 freestyle, finishing sixth with a time of 22.97.
The 400-medley relay team of Federica Nocera, Emma Pillich, Megan Ehrnfeldt, and Mari Alencar placed fifth with a time of 3:41.86.
The competition continues tomorrow with the 100 butterfly, 400 medley, 50 free and 200 freestyle, 100 breaststroke and 100 backstroke. Prelims begin at 10 a.m. and the finals start at 6 p.m.
