Dragon of the Week: Drake and Soriano

PHILADELPHIA - Allison Drake and Jordan Soriano named the Drexel Dragons of the Week, presented by Rothman Orthopedics, for the week of March 3rd-9th.
Allison Drake, member of women's lacrosse, scored a season high seven goals in a win over Siena this past week. After the Dragons started the game down 4-0, Drake scored three unanswered goals to bring Drexel within one. The graduate senior went on to add four more goals in Drexel's 16-9 win over Siena. Drake is now second on the squad with 26 goals this season.
Jordan Soriano, member of men's wrestling, qualified for the NCAA Championships after his performance at EIWA Championships. Soriano defeated Bryce Kresho of Franklin and Marshall at 141lbs in the third place match to qualify for the NCAA Championships for the first time in his career. The junior and two other Dragons will represent Drexel at Wells Fargo Center on March 20th-22nd at the NCAA Division 1 Wrestling Championships.
