Lane Steps Down as Head Coach of the Women’s Rowing Program

Philadelphia, PA - Drexel University head coach of Women's Rowing, Katie Lane is stepping down, Vice President, Director of Athletics & Recreation Maisha Kelly announced on March 14. Director of Rowing Paul Savell will continue his oversight of both the men's and women's rowing programs and will conduct a search to identify talent to serve a coaching role within the women's rowing program.
"I want to thank Coach Lane for her work with the women's rowing program," Kelly said. Coach Lane brought knowledge, energy, and experience to the position during her tenure with the Dragons. Under her leadership, the student-athletes on her team demonstrated success in the classroom and on the water and actively served in the greater Philadelphia community."
