Dragon of the Week: Burridge and Cuocco

PHILADELPHIA - Will Burridge and Jenika Cuocco named the Drexel Dragons of the Week, presented by Rothman Orthopedics, for the week of March 17th-23rd.

Will Burridge, member of men's tennis, delivered a strong performance in Drexel's 7-0 victory over Bryant on Saturday. Burridge teamed up with Hussein El Tawil for a convincing 6-1 win at No. 2 doubles, helping the Dragons secure the opening point. In singles, the sophomore stayed in control throughout his match at the No. 2 spot, defeating Miguel Angel Machado 6-0, 6-4 to remain unbeaten on the day.

Jenika Cuocco, member of women's lacrosse, recorded back to back double digit save games in Drexel's two wins this weekend. On the road Friday at Delaware, Cuocco notched a season high, twelve saves as the Dragons won 12-10. The redshirt junior followed up that performance with 11 saves in an 18-8 victory on Sunday at Campbell. Jennika ranks first in the CAA and 18th nationally in goals against average (9.35).
