CHARLESTON, SC– Drexel men's tennis edged out a 4-3 win over Charleston, which was clinched by Will Burridge in a comback singles victory. The Dragons move to 8-3 on the season and 1-1 in the CAA.

Charleston claimed the doubles point with 6-4 wins at the top two positions, while Drexel's third pair was tied 5-5 when the point was decided.

In singles, Drexel rebounded with four key wins. Hussein El Tawil and Egor Kirakosov each won in straight sets, and Josue Guzman edged out a tight 6-3, 2-6, 7-6 (8) battle to put the Dragons in position to clinch. Burridge sealed the match at No. 2 singles, recovering from a first-set tiebreak loss to defeat Jake Sweeney 6-7 (7), 6-3, 6-1.

The Dragons will travel to Wilmington, NC on Friday to take on UNCW. The match is set for 10:00am.
