Dragon of the Week: Guzman and Quinn

PHILADELPHIA - Josue Guzman and Kate Quinn named the Drexel Dragons of the Week, presented by Rothman Orthopedics, for the week of March 24th-30th.

Josue Guzman, member of men's tennis, picked up two singles victories on the road this past weekend. In Drexel's win on Wednesday, Guzman held off Jake Smith of Charleston in a third-set tiebreaker to take the match 6-3, 2-6, 7-6 (8). The sophomore followed that performance with another solid showing against UNC Wilmington, claiming a 7-5, 6-3 straight-set victory over Alexander Thompson.

Kate Quinn, member of women's lacrosse, scored a career high five goals in Drexel's 12-9 win over Towson on Saturday. Going into the second quarter, the Dragons trailed Towson 4-2. Quinn caught fire, adding three scores as Drexel scored five goals in the quarter. The junior added two more in the fourth to hit her single game career high. The West Caldwell, N.J. native now has 18 goals on the season.
