ELON, N.C. – Sixth-seeded Drexel men's tennis falls to third-seeded Monmouth in the CAA quarterfinals,4-0. The Dragons end the season with a 10-8 record.

Monmouth secured the doubles point after wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. Drexel's Josue Guzman and Antonio Franquis earned a 6-4 win at No. 3 doubles, but the Hawks took the early 1-0 advantage.

In singles play, Will Burridge was the first match to finish, falling at No. 3 singles, 6-2, 6-3. Hussein El Tawil fell shortly after with a 6-4, 6-2 loss at the No. 2 position. Monmouth clinched the match with a 7-5, 6-4 win by Mateo Bivol over Alex De Sousa at the No. 1 spot.

Three matches were left unfinished. Egor Kirakosov led 3-2 in the third set at No. 4 singles after dropping the first set. Roman Lafond was battling in the third set at No. 5, and Josue Guzman was in a tight third set at No. 6 when the match was decided.
