Baker Named to First Team All-Big 5

PHILADELPHIA – Amaris Baker has been named to the Big 5 First Team. The awards were voted on by the six Big 5 head coaches.
Baker finished the season scoring 17.0 points per game this season. The senior finished the regular season scoring double-digits in 25 of Drexel's 28 games and scored 20 or more points 11 times. Baker also tallied a career-high 33 points in Drexel's game versus North Carolina A&T. The Philadelphia native, who averaged 37.6 minutes per game, scored a career-high 509 points this season.
The First Team consisted of Saint Joseph's Talya Brugler and Laura Ziegler, Stina Almquist of Penn, Tiarra East of Temple, Baker and Jasmine Boscoe of Villanova. The Second Team included Mackenzie Smith of Saint Joseph's, Maddie Wbber of Villanova, Tarriyonna Gary of Temple, Kate Collins of Penn and Ashleigh Connor of La Salle. Mataya Gayle of Penn was an honorable mention pick.
