1/21/2026 2:21:00 PM | Drexel Athletics, Dragon Club
PHILADELPHIA — Drexel University's 2026 Homecoming is set to begin Friday, Jan. 23 and run through Sunday, Jan. 25.
Homecoming will get underway Friday as the women's basketball team takes on Stony Brook at 6 p.m. Tickets for Friday's game are available here. Prior to tip-off, the annual Homecoming kikoff bonfire will begin at 5 p.m. on Lancaster Walk.
On Saturday, Drexel will induct Malik Rose and Bill Herrion into the Janet E. and Barry C. Burkholder Athletic Hall of Fame as members of the Class of 2026. Rose and Herrion led the Drexel men's basketball team to three straight NCAA Tournament appearances from 1994-96, highlighted by two North Atlantic Conference championships and the first and only NCAA Tournament victory in program history, upsetting fifth-seeded Memphis in 1996.
Saturday's athletic events start with men's tennis in the Vidas Bubble. The Dragons will battle Philadelphia foe Saint Joseph's at 9:30 a.m. Back in the DAC, the men's and women's swimming and diving teams battle Towson at 10:30 a.m. The day caps off with the men's basketball game against Northeastern at 2 p.m. Saturday's game and giveaway is sponsored by Rothman Orthopaedics, with the first 500 fans receiving a Drexel Koozie. Tickets are available here.
Before making your way to the DAC for some hoops, stop by the Drexel Alumni Fan Zone in the Recreation Center Lobby from 12–2 p.m. Show your Blue and Gold spirit with a pop-up pub, games, snacks and wine and beer. Kids can enjoy face painting, arts and crafts and photo opportunities with Mario and the Drexel Spirit Team. To register, use the link here (game ticket sold separately).
The weekend concludes on Sunday as women's tennis takes on Saint Joseph's at Vidas Courts at 10 a.m. Women's basketball then wraps up the festivities at 2 p.m. against Towson. Saturday's game will be Taylor Swift Night, featuring Taylor Swift music and friendship bracelet making throughout the game. Tickets can be purchased here.
Admission for all Drexel students is FREE for all games. The full Drexel Homecoming schedule can be seen here.
