Women's Swimming and Diving Takes Season Opener Over La Salle, 195-101

PHILADELPHIA– The Drexel women's swimming and diving team started the season off hot with a 195-101 win against Philadelphia opponent, La Salle at the Daskalakis Athletic Center.

The Dragons collected 11 first-place finishes on the day. Drexel swept four events including 100 back, 200 fly, 50 free and 500 free. Freshman Kailey Dela Cruz earned first place in the 100 and 200 fly in her first collegiate meet. First year Sophia Sileo-Magliari also took home gold in the 100 and 200 breaststrokes Drexel also received wins from Brittany Corbett in the 500 and 1000 Free, Clare Schwartz and Alicia Taylor tied in the 50 free for first place, Harper Barrowman in the 200 free, Ines Kieffel for the 100 free in her first meet as a Dragon.
