Dragons Finish Eighth at Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational

FARMINGTON, Pa. – Drexel men's golf moved up two spots in the team standings during Tuesday's final round, finishing eighth at the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational hosted by West Virginia at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort's Mystic Rock Course.
The Dragons carded a final-round 292 (+4), their best team score of the tournament, to finish at 27-over-par for the 54-hole event. Drexel climbed from 10th to eighth in the 16-team field on the tournament's final day.
John Keba led the Dragons in the final round, firing a 2-under-par 70. Keba recorded birdies on holes 15 and 16 to post one of the team's best rounds of the week and finish tied for 14th overall at 2-over-par.
John Stevenson closed out the tournament with an even-par 72 and finished tied for 26th at 5-over-par. Stevenson recorded an eagle on the par-4 11th hole and added a birdie on No. 18 during his final round.
Luca Kleinschmidt continued his strong play with a 2-over-par 74 on Tuesday. The freshman finished tied for 35th overall at 8-over-par for the tournament.
Harry Cohen carded a 4-over-par 76 in the final round to finish tied for 62nd at 13-over-par. Cohen highlighted his round with birdies on holes 4 and 17.
Caleb Walsh rounded out the Drexel lineup with a 7-over-par 79 and finished 81st overall.
Seton Hall captured the team title at 1-under-par, edging Eastern Michigan, which finished even-par for the tournament. West Virginia placed third at 5-over-par.
Drexel now turns its attention to the Monterrey Collegiate Classic, hosted by George Washington in Monterrey, Mexico. The three-round event is set to be played at Club Campestre Monterrey.
