PHILADELPHIA – Amaree Abram has been added to the Drexel Men's Basketball roster for the 2026-27 year.
Abram, a 6-foot-3 guard from Port Arthur, Texas, joined Drexel for his fifth season of collegiate competition and has been practicing with the team since the first week of graduate classes in late September. A veteran with experience at multiple Division I programs, he arrives in University City after spending the 2025-26 season at Tennessee.
During his season with the Volunteers, Abram appeared in 25 games and ranked third on the team in three-point percentage. Prior to Tennessee, he spent time at Ole Miss, Georgia Tech and Louisiana Tech.
Throughout his collegiate career, Abram has established himself as a reliable offensive threat, totaling 774 points across 100 games. His most productive season came in 2024-25 at Louisiana Tech, where he scored a career-high 395 points and averaged 12.3 points per game.
Abram also logged more than 1,000 minutes during that campaign, becoming just the 29th Bulldog in program history to reach the 1,000-minute mark in a single season. His performance earned him Honorable Mention All-Conference USA recognition.
