Krpina, Huth, and Volkov Earn CAA Monthly Awards

CAA MEN'S CO-ROOKIE SWIMMER OF THE MONTH
Roko Krpina
Krpina turned in a standout month for the Dragons, setting a school record in the 1000 freestyle against Monmouth with a time of 9:16.82, which ranks fourth in the CAA. The freshman also recorded victories in the 500 freestyle against both Towson and Penn, including a time of 4:27.45 versus the Tigers that currently ranks third in the conference. In addition, Krpina finished third in the 200 butterfly against Penn.
CAA MEN'S DIVER OF THE MONTH
Simon Huth
Huth posted consistent performances on both boards across Drexel's two January meets. Against Towson, the freshman scored 261.98 on the 3-meter board and added a 238.50 on the 1-meter board. He followed with another pair of solid finishes against Penn, compiling a score of 262.65 on the 1-meter board and 251.33 on the 3-meter board.
CAA WOMEN'S DIVER OF THE MONTH
Lada Volkov
Volkov delivered a strong January highlighted by NCAA qualifying marks on both boards. Against Penn, the freshman posted a score of 256.73 on the 1-meter board and a 282.90 on the 3-meter board to qualify for NCAA Diving Zones. She continued her success against CAA opponent Towson, finishing third on the 1-meter board with a score of 256.73 and third on the 3-meter board with a score of 249.23.
