Drexel Wraps Up at Sarasota 2K

SARASOTA, Fla. — The Drexel women's rowing team closed out the Sarasota 2K with a pair of second place finishes on Saturday. The 2nd Varsity 8+ led the Dragons' squads, earning second in the Petite Final.

The team of Grace Demers (Coxswain), Paige Hartshorn (Stroke), River Trotter, Olivia Duffy and Emerson Donahue (Bow) crossed the line with a time of 7:45.68, finishing eighth overall. The Dragons finished over four seconds behind SMU in the race.

The 2nd Varsity 8+ also captured a second place finish in the Third Final, as the Varsity 8+ and Varsity 4+ both came home in third.
