PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel women's tennis team dropped a close match to the University of Rhode Island Rams.
In doubles play, Anastasia Kavounov and Rebecca Fiedler were defeated in a close, 7(7)-6(5) set. Lorie Lemongo and Adva Dabah won 7-6. Sofiya Snitko and Christina Fourie fell 6-4.
In singles play, Lemongo won 6-1 and 6-1. Snitko was defeated 6-4 and 6-3. Dabah won 6-4 and 7-5. Fiedler fell 6-2 and 7(8)-6(6). Ibrahim dropped her match 6-1 and 6-2. Fourie's match went unfinished.
