Dragon of the Week: Quinn and Men's Varsity 8+

PHILADELPHIA – Teagan Quinn and the Drexel men's rowing Varsity 8+ named the Drexel Dragons of the Week, presented by Rothman Orthopaedics, for the week of March 24th–30th.
Teagan Quinn, a member of the women's lacrosse team, scored the game's final two goals, including the game-winner with 46 seconds remaining, to lift Drexel to a 10-9 victory over Elon on Senior Day. The sophomore netted the equalizer with just over three minutes to play before converting on a woman-up opportunity for the deciding goal. The West Caldwell, N.J. native helped the Dragons close the game on a 4-1 run to secure their first conference win of the season.
The Drexel men's rowing Varsity 8+ earned a victory over Columbia at Overpeck Park. Rowing in Lois Krall IV, the crew of Luke Joseph (coxswain), Ben Werber (stroke), Willem Kirsch, Matthew Kennedy, Milo Epstein, Kyle Brown, Jakob Mauntel, Jono Andersson and Justus Bormann (bow) posted a time of 5:51.82, finishing more than four seconds ahead of the Lions. The win highlighted a strong showing for the Dragons in their spring competition.
