PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel women's tennis team defeated the Temple Owls, 4-3, on Friday at Temple.

In doubles play, Christine Fourie and Sofiya Snitko were defeated 6-1. Rebecca Fiedler and Anastasia Kavounov won 6-2 before Adva Dabah and Lorie Lemongo sealed the doubles point for Drexel with a 6-1 win.

In singles, Noor Heiba fell 6-4 and 6-0. Lemongo dropped her match 6-2 and 6-4. Kavounov was defeated 7-5 and 6-0. Snitko won 7-5 and 7-5. Fourie lost the first set 6-3 before winning the next two 6-2 and 6-3. Dabah also fell in the first set, 7-5, before clinching the win for Drexel by winning the next two sets 7-5 and 6-3.
