PHILADELPHIA - Drexel Athletics and Pepsi have announced a seven-year contract extension, reinforcing a dynamic and comprehensive partnership designed to elevate the student-athlete and fan experience across Dragons Athletics through the 2032 season.
As part of the extension, Pepsi will continue as the Official Soft Drink of Drexel Athletics, maintaining a fully integrated presence across multiple platforms. The partnership includes a wide-ranging media and marketing footprint spanning digital and social media channels, basketball broadcasts on NBC Sports Philadelphia, and prominent on-campus displays and activations.
A key component of the agreement is Pepsi's commitment to student engagement and Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) opportunities. The brand will have in-state use of Drexel University marks tied to NIL initiatives, providing unique opportunities for student-athletes to connect with one of the world's most recognized brands.
Pepsi's presence will be especially visible at the Daskalakis Athletic Center, where the company will hold entitlement rights to the Student Section. Additional activations include sponsorship of annual Rivalry Nights, premium fan giveaways and extensive in-venue branding through videoboards and courtside LED displays.
The partnership ensures consistent exposure throughout the year, including during Drexel's basketball and wrestling seasons, delivering value across both in-venue and broadcast experiences.
