Five Dragons Named NWCA Scholar All-Americans

PHILADELPHIA — Five members of the Drexel wrestling team were named NCAA Division I Men's Scholar All-America's by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA), as announced by the organization. Desmond Pleasant (125lbs), Nate Schon (285) Kyle Waterman (133lbs), Cody Walsh (165lbs) and Ethan Wilson (184) were all recognized by the NWCA for their excellence in the classroom.
A total of 390 student-athletes representing 73 institutions were recognized for their academic success in the classroom while competing throughout the season, meeting one of the following criteria:

- Top 8 and 3.00 GPA
- National Qualifier and 3.2 GPA
- Conference qualifier and 3.5 GPA
- 15 matches with 60% win record and 3.5 GPA
