Burridge Named CAA Men's Player of the Week

PHILADELPHIA - Will Burridge of the Drexel men's tennis team has been named CAA Men's Tennis Player of the Week.
The Swindon, U.K. native went 2-0 in singles and doubles to help Drexel earn impressive team victories over Delaware (4-2) and William & Mary (4-1) last week. Competing at No. 3 singles, Burridge rallied past Delaware's Euan Mackenzie, 6-7, 6-4, 6-1 to give the Dragons a 3-2 lead in the match. He clinched Drexel's first road win ever at W&M by defeating Austin Cohen, 7-5, 6-4. Burridge and partner Tarek Mo Erlewein were also 2-0 at No. 1 doubles as Drexel claimed the doubles point in both matches.
This season, Burridge is 11-3 in singles play and 13-2 in doubles play.
Burridge and the Dragons will return to the court on Friday when they visit Monmouth.
