Four Dragons Named to CSCA All-District Team

PHILADELPHIA – Four members of the Drexel men's tennis team were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District, as announced by the organization.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must be of a sophomore academic standing or higher with a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA and be a starter or key reserve for their team.

Antonio Franquis, Tarek Mo Erlewein, Will Burridge and Lub Obrul were all named after strong seasons on the court and in the classroom.

Franquis had a strong year, going 13-7 in singles and 13-8 in doubles.

Erlewein was named to the All-CAA First Team for Singles after going 11-8 in singles matches and 17-4 in doubles.

Burridge was named to the All-CAA Second Team for Singles after going 14-8 in singles and 19-4 in doubles. He and Erlewein were named to the All-CAA First Team for doubles after going 16-4.

Obrul led the team in singles wins with 15 and also won 13 doubles matches.
