PHILADELPHIA – Nat Graham has been named as an assistant coach for the Drexel men's basketball team, as announced by head coach Zach Spiker. Graham comes to Drexel with experience from Cornell, Penn, and Boston College.
Graham spent last season as a part of Jon Jaques's staff. While with the Big Red, Graham helped oversee strategy for Cornell's 19th-ranked offense, as well as player development and he helped bring in a recruiting class of five freshmen and two transfers. His previous stint with the team saw three Ivy League Championships, a top 10-ranked offense and a Sweet 16 appearance.
Prior to his time in Ithaca, Graham worked at Penn for 11 seasons. During his time at Penn, he helped the Quakers reach the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 11 years and win an Ivy League Tournament championship.
Graham also made stops at Boston College and the University of Toronto.
He earned his bachelor's degree in sociology from Penn in 1997, then pursued postgraduate studies at the University of Western Ontario and later earned a master's degree in multicultural education from Eastern University in 2003. As a player for the Quakers and Western Mustangs, he was a three-time letter winner, two-time Ivy League Champion, first team All-Canadian and later inducted into the University of Western Ontario's Basketball Wall of Fame.
